As Sang's father La works as an elephant driver in the Northern Thailand, Sang grows up with an elephant. One day, La is unwillingly drived to the areas near Burma as that is the place usually for war.

However, his capitalist employer suddenly ordered for the capture of every elephant driver and then burn their houses. Las asked Sang to go to Bangkok to stay with his cousin. They miss each other on the way to Bangkok ......
